Hi,

You can use these steps to apply the current view to all folders of the same type.  (For example, if you're in a folder optimized for documents and set this view it will be the default in general, but not for folders optimized for pictures.)

1. Open a Windows Explorer folder .
 (Clicking Start Button, Computer is one way to open Windows Explorer.)

2. Set the view to your preferences. 

2. Choose Organize, Folder and Search options, View.

3. Click Apply to Folders, OK.
All folders of the same type will now default to this view.
